Who am I ?
My journey
I was born in Switzerland and grew up between Switzerland and the south of France. Most of my life has been devoted to the Indian classical arts, dance, and horses. I am also passionate about everything related to the moving body and well-being. I hold qualifications in Kathak and yoga therapy, and I specialize in neurophysical therapy for humans and horses, who have been part of my life since a very young age.
My artistic studies began in Monaco in 1997, at the Conservatory of Music and at the “Danse Plus” school.
In 2006, I was discovered and invited to Varanasi by Pt. Ravi Shankar Mishra, who gave me my stage name, “Gauri”. After many years of study, I obtained my Prabhakar diploma (equivalent to the baccalaureate) in Kathak from the Prayag Sangeet Samiti Academy in Allahabad.
In India, I also studied yoga therapy and became certified by the International Yoga Alliance, as well as tabla and Indian rhythms, and Hindustani vocal music with Pt. Ritesh Mishra (Benares Gharana).
I perform and represent the Benares style internationally. My collaborations include Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, La Landwehr, Le Cirque Liquide, and Nuithonie. I have had the privilege of performing on prestigious stages in India, including the legendary Sankat Mochan Sangeet Samaroh in Varanasi.
In January 2014, I founded my association, Sangeet Swiss, to promote Indian classical arts, particularly in Switzerland.
I teach and develop a yoga therapy rehabilitation methodology, Rehab-yoga-bility, in numerous schools and wellness centres, as well as in private sessions and for high-level athletes.
In 2020, I was awarded a mobility grant by the Cultural Department of the Canton of Fribourg for my artistic research in dance, and I collaborated with the talented Sanjukta Sinha.
In 2021, I was honoured with two awards from Swaranjali Delhi and Kala Kendra Chandigarh for my dedication and commitment to the Indian classical arts.
In 2023, I was honoured by the Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations in Geneva for my contribution to the promotion of Indian culture, as well as for my career as a dancer.
In 2023, I discovered Horse Bio Tensegrity Training, and in 2025, I was accepted into the HOTE Horse Tensegrity Trainer programme in Germany.

Rehab-yoga-bility® Methodology
Yoga is an incredibly versatile and effective tool. My goal was to make it accessible to everyone, without any religious or dogmatic connotations.
I would like to emphasize that yoga, in its origins, is not tied to any religion, but rather represents a non-ritual path towards self-expansion. I wanted to help people understand their bodies as a whole – physically, vitally, mentally, and emotionally – without limiting them to meditation sessions in the lotus position or complex postures.
In the West, yoga is often misunderstood and reduced to esoteric clichés or inaccessible postures.
My goal is to help people from all walks of life through a demystified approach to yoga and the tools it offers. In my personal practice, I then explored what could improve my well-being, reduce inflammation, promote recovery, and, above all, help me feel better in both body and mind. I realized that yoga had benefits far beyond the physical, affecting my entire being. By combining my dance training with yoga, I developed an individualized methodology over the years, focused on training, recovery, and physical preparation, which I named REHAB-YOGA-BILITY.
This methodology is based on a unique blend of movement visualization techniques (proprioception), yoga postures, breathing, and meditation, all serving your well-bein
